Calling All Top Cats!
Our Group Riding Safety Seminar (G.R.A.S.S.) is being offered on October 23rd, at Keller Williams, 600 Hart Rd #105, Barrington. At 8:00 am, the doors are open and at 8:30 am, the presentation begins. Our seminar teaches you how to safely ride as a group. It consists of five modules entitled Group Riding and Hand Signals, Rider/Road Captain Obligations, Co-Riders, Accident Scene Management and finally an optional module which teaches how to be a Road Captain. The seminar will be completed by 12:00 pm.
Attending G.R.A.S.S. is required within the first year and to be an active club member. Once you achieved this requirement, you are eligible to vote in elections. This is a great chance to fulfill that requirement, to learn how to ride safer in groups like ours and, if a new member, become eligible to vote. Even for those who have taken it before, it is always important to keep up to date with your training and to practice group riding safety when you ride.
