THE DREAM HAS COME TRUE! THE LONG AWAITED RIDE TO THE
FIELD OF DREAMS!!!
SATURDAY, AUGUST 27, 2022 AND SUNDAY, AUGUST 28, 2022
This is an overnight ride from Huntley, Illinois to Dyersville, lowa. We will meet at the Mobil Gas Station located at 13280 South Illinois Rt 47, Huntley, Illinois at 7:30 a.m., 7:45 a.m. Pre-Ride Meeting and Kickstands up at 8:00 a.m. Sharp! The ride is approximately 214 miles with a lunch stop at the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, lowa. We will arrive in plenty of time to unpack your bat, ball and glove and play a little catch! You will be able to tour the home where the Kinsella family lived in the movie “Field of Dreams.” Also, you will be able to tour the National Farm Toy Museum which is near by the Field of Dreams. That evening there will be a bean bag tournament setup on the Field of Dreams.

Dyersville, 925 15th Avenue SE, Dyersville, IA 52040. The phone is (563)875-8885. I have reserved eight rooms/2 king and 6 queen (two beds). All rooms are $123.50 plus $14.83 tax per night. Please make your reservations as soon as possible.
To follow our baseball theme, on the way home we will stop at Balltown and travel along the Mississippi and cross over at Dubuque and on to Galena. We will stop in Galena for lunch and back to the Mobil gas station in Huntley by 4:30 p.m.
It should be a nice relaxing ride in the country.
