Remember the weekly television show “ Route 66”?
If you do, your one of the Senior Members in our Club. If you don’t well it will be an exciting ride down Route 47 to the “Old Route 66 Restaurant” in Dwight, Illinois where we can have a great breakfast or lunch.
After that we will continue on Down Old Route 66 to the “Route 66 Association of Illinois” in Pontiac, Illinois. After taking the tour of the museum and the military museum, we will ride east on Route 116 to Route 47 where we will have a fuel stop and start our journey home. However, before we must make a stop in Yorkville at the Culvers for an afternoon treat..
We will start at the Thornton Gas Station @ 2095 E. Algonquin Road at 8:30 am.
