The tradition continues! We will meet at 9:30 a.m. in front of the Copernicus Foundation, 5216 West Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, Illinois for Ted’s Abbreviated Toys for Tots Run. For those coming from the Northwest suburbs on the Kennedy Expressway, you will exit off Lawrence Avenue and make a right coming off the service ramp. The Copernicus Foundation is immediately on your right. It will be a short ride, but still please have a full tank of gas on your arrival. Our safety briefing will be at 9:45 a.m. with KSU at 10:00 a.m.
We will proceed on the Kennedy Expressway going east and exit Division Street. We will proceed going west on Division to our breakfast location, Podhalanke Restaurant, located at 1549 West Division Street. (If the weather does not cooperate, we will still gather for breakfast via automobile.) After our traditional Polish breakfast, we will continue west on Division Street to Western Avenue. At that point, we will join the parade and drop off our toys at Lane Tech High School located at Western Avenue and Addison. You should be on your way home by noon.
